FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Catherine has spent 20+ years building, leading and coaching teams at startup and mid-sized organizations, with the majority of those years at Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) helping to build and grow the high-performing MLT team from 50 to 200 and establishing career development and coaching services for 8,000 rising executives. Prior to that, she worked as Chief of Staff to one of the most connect people in the world, MLT Founder/CEO, John Rice, and spent her early career in education management, matching families and institutions with the best tutors and teachers to support their unique learning goals.
At Carrington Talent Group, she continues the impactful work of coaching, executive recruiting and matching organizations with specialized consultants and project-resources. Her network reaches far and wide and encompasses top talent (many from diverse and/or historically marginalized communities across a variety of industries and functions).

TALENT RECRUITMENT & OPERATIONS
Sonia Miranda Tekle has over ten years of experience in recruitment and people development at organizations such as Teach For America (TFA), Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), and EF Education First. A Harvard College graduate with an MBA from Yale School of Management, Sonia is deeply committed to education, learning, and professional growth. She has been grateful to pursue her passions in education and learning, as well as in connecting people with their dream jobs and helping leaders build their teams. She loves matching people with great opportunities and supporting both candidates and hiring teams so that they feel valued and supported throughout the process. Sonia has been on Catherine’s team for nine years, four in a full-time capacity while at MLT and the last five with Carrington Talent Group as a lead recruiter/sourcing expert and operations lead.

HR STRATEGY & OPERATIONS
Ann-Michelle is a senior HR / OD professional with experience and expertise in Talent Management, Learning and Development, and Organizational Design, providing expert guidance and consulting services for many of Carrington Talent Group’s clients in areas of compensation and benefits, organizational structure and redesign, and performance management. Ann-Michelle has experience leading human resource functions across various industries and sectors, including the financial services, healthcare, sports, and nonprofit sectors. She has experience working with global firms and has worked on four continents. With a passion for affecting positive change in order for people and organizations to reach their full potential, Ann-Michelle supports clients in building efficient and effective HR functions that align strategically with each organization’s core business. Ann-Michelle is a trained coach and expert facilitator. She holds a Master’s of Science in Organizational Development and Training from the University of Denver (2002).

TALENT STRATEGY & EXECUTIVE SEARCH
Crystal Maitre brings over 15 years of diverse career experience across HR, executive search, consulting, client relationship and business development roles and embeds a consistent lens of inclusion in her partnership with clients, leaders, and colleagues. She specializes in supporting small and mid-size organizations on their strategic and operational HR and talent needs, with a focus on leadership team alignment, leader 360s, senior level recruiting, succession planning, employee relations, RIFs, career development models and HR roadmaps. She has experience working with early stage startups as well as middle market and enterprise organizations spanning across industries, including life sciences, healthcare, financial services, venture capital, consumer goods and non-profit. Crystal has an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She enjoys traveling, sports and spending time with her husband and their daughter.

CLIENT & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Nisha has nearly 20 years of professional experience with organizations such as American Express, Bain & Co, Keurig Dr Pepper, and Qualtrics. Her leadership roles have spanned marketing, management consulting, HR, and Customer Success, and she has a highly versatile skill set, helping leaders frame up and solve challenging problems, identify opportunities for growth, and execute projects at a high level. Nisha holds an undergraduate degree from the Stern School of Business at NYU and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Outside of work, Nisha is a proud twin mom, avid traveler, and history nerd.

EXECUTIVE RECRUITER
Brett Kunsch is an executive recruiter specializing in nonprofit, K–12, and social impact organizations nationwide. He has led senior executive searches supporting numerous hiring teams and search firms. Additionally, Brett served for more than a decade in leadership roles with NYC Public Schools across the divisions of Human Capital and School Wellness. He is a current Board Member & Secretary at Pinewoods Montessori School and holds a professional coaching certification from the International Coach Academy. He resides with his family in Raleigh-Durham.

TALENT OPERATIONS
Kat Medina is a People Operations and Recruiting Operations professional based in Los Angeles, California, with over 8 years of experience across nonprofit, healthcare, and corporate environments. At Carrington Talent Group, she supports end-to-end recruiting and talent operations across executive and nonprofit search engagements — managing candidate experience, search operations, and client-facing coordination.
Kat brings a background that spans HR coordination, onboarding, employee engagement, executive support, and recruiting operations. She has supported teams and leaders at organizations including Keck Medicine of USC and uAspire, where she led initiatives ranging from onboarding program design to executive office operations.
At the heart of her work is a deep belief in the power of the human experience. Kat is a natural connector — the kind of person who understands that behind every search, every hire, and every organization are real people, and that getting it right matters. That belief shows up in everything she does.

COPYWRITER & BRAND STRATEGIST
Taylor is a talented copywriter and brand strategist as well as an award-winning former journalist. She has 10+ years of experience crafting compelling and persuasive websites and other sales copy for service providers; Taylor also has experience in SEO, content marketing and brand strategy. Having started her own business in 2019, Taylor enjoys understanding what makes each client unique and how to amplify their own voice and personality in both print and digital assets. She has partnered with Carrington Talent Group and its clients on various projects from brand strategy to content across various media.

TALENT STRATEGY & EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE
Marcella Gambino brings 15+ years of experience across talent acquisition, employee experience, and HR strategy, partnering with organizations across nonprofit, professional services, PE, and consumer sectors. She is based in the Greater Philadelphia area and has supported a range of organizations, from early-stage teams to established businesses, often stepping in to build the structure, processes, and talent strategies needed to support their next phase of growth.
Marcella has led full-cycle recruiting efforts across levels and functions, from campus hiring to executive searches for CEOs and CFOs, and across roles spanning operations, creative, retail, administrative, and corporate teams. She is known for taking a thoughtful, high-touch approach to recruiting, ensuring both candidates and hiring teams feel supported throughout the process.
In addition to her recruiting work, Marcella has designed and led employee experience and culture initiatives, including performance management systems, engagement programming, and organizational development efforts that strengthen retention and team effectiveness.
She holds an MBA from Villanova University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and taking cooking classes around the world.
